摘要：<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of image quality.SOLUTION: An image forming unit comprises: an image carrier; a developer carrier; a developer storage part storing a developer supplied to the developer carrier; a developer reserving part provided above the developer storage part; a replenishment port through which the developer is replenished from the developer reserving part to the developer storage part; and a replenishment member supplying the developer from the replenishment port to the developer storage part. In the developer storage part, a conveyance member arranged below the replenishment member and conveying the developer in the axial direction of the developer carrier and a guide member guiding the conveyed developer in the axial direction of the developer carrier are arranged. Remaining amount detection means is arranged between the conveyance member and the developer carrier. The guide member has such a shape that its height is decreased as it goes from the central part to each end. The conveyance member includes a spiral part conveying the developer from the central part toward each end and a projection part conveying the developer in the rotational direction of the conveyance member. The projection part is formed between the plurality of components of the spiral part.</p>
