A cover 4 covers at least a part of one of openings of the frame 9, does not limit the transmission of the light between the light guide bodies 1, 2 and the reading target object, and includes light guide body holding parts 4b, 4c for holding second supported portions opposed to the first supported portions in the side faces of the light guide bodies 1, 2. The light guide bodies 1, 2 are fixed in the frame 9 by a flange part configured by the light guide body holding parts 9g, 9h provided on the frame 9 and the light guide body holding parts 4b, 4c provided on the cover 4.
