摘要：The present invention relates to a method, device, and system for downloading contents on the basis of a rights verification. The content download method is performed by a first device, which obtains digital rights management (DRM) information on an asset from asset metadata associated with the asset, obtains DRM capabilities on a second device, performs a rights verification for using the asset through the second device on the basis of the DRM information and the DRM capabilities that are obtained, and transmits a queuing request for staging the asset through the second device on the basis of the results of the rights verification. Thus, to enable the consumption of contents, the rights verification may be performed on the basis of device capabilities and content information, and contents may be stably and effectively downloaded using a target device on the basis of the verified results.
