摘要：<p>An information processing apparatus includes a processing apparatus (10), a bus bridge (21) connected to the processing apparatus (10) through a first bus (50) and connecting to a peripheral apparatus (31, 30), a nonvolatile storage apparatus (233) that stores information relating to a fault occurring in the peripheral apparatus or the bus bridge, a monitoring apparatus (40) connected to the nonvolatile storage apparatus (233) through a second bus (60) different from the first bus (50) and monitoring a system including the processing apparatus, and a fault notification unit (23, 231) that stores, when the fault occurs in the peripheral apparatus or the bus bridge, the information relating to the occurring fault into the nonvolatile storage apparatus (233) and issues a notification of an error to the monitoring apparatus (40) through the second bus (60). By the information processing apparatus, fault information of the peripheral apparatus and the bus bridge is acquired with certainty.</p>
