摘要:A level control device for vehicles comprising at least one air spring 11 by means of which a vehicle body is sprung with respect to at least one vehicle axle is provided. The level control device comprises an air compressor 17 which can only be connected to the air spring 11 via an air dryer 21. The air compressor 17 can be connected to the atmosphere via a check valve 19 opening in the intake direction of the air compressor 17. The air spring 11 can be connected to the atmosphere via the air dryer 21 and via a pneumatically controllable first directional valve 24 for evacuation, the pneumatic control input 28 of the first directional valve 24 then being exposed to the pressure in the air spring 11 via a second electrically controllable directional valve 27 against a reset force acting on the pneumatic control input 28. The pneumatic control input 28 of the first directional valve 24 can be connected to the atmosphere via the second directional valve 27 in order to end an evacuation process of the air spring 11. A line 31 with a compressed air reservoir 33 branches off from the supply line 16 of the air spring 11 via a first switchover valve 32. The compressed air reservoir 33 is connected to the intake side of the air compressor 17 via a second switchover valve 35 and a line 34 connected to the compressed air path 18 between the check valve 19 and the air compressor 17, and a preferably pneumatically functioning pressure regulator 36 being contained in this line 34.
