摘要:A solid electrolytic capacitor 30 has an anode body with a dielectric coating, such as a valve metal formed into a porous sintered aggregation of particles with the dielectric formed thereon by anodisation. A manganese precursor solution (preferably manganese nitrate) for impregnating into the pores of the anode includes a dispersant which minimizes the likelihood of the precursor forming droplets on contacting the anodes dielectric surface coating. The resulting manganese oxide has a "film-like" configuration and improves the quality of the resulting oxide as well as its surface coverage. The dispersant is preferably an aromatic like molecule with hydrophilic and hydrophobic moieties and most preferably is a salt of a condensed naphthalene sulfonic acid. The solution may contain 0.001-5% of the dispersant. The solution may be aqueous and may also include an alcohol. The manganese oxide precursor may be a nano-sized colloidal suspension with most particles in the size range of 0.2 to 10 nanometers.
