摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking brake mechanism and an electric parking brake for easily securing an installation space for a parking cable.SOLUTION: A parking lever assembly 23 with an automatic adjuster in a parking brake mechanism has: a strut 33 having one end part in contact with a first brake shoe 15 and the other end part in contact with a recessed contact part 45 of a parking lever 27; and a bracket 37 having one end part 57 holding a lever pin 35 of the parking lever 27, and the other end part 53 in contact with a second brake shoe 17 and slidably in contact with a parking plate-side lever plate 71 on both sides of the parking cable 29 across a pulling-out part insertion hole 75. In the parking lever 27, the lever pin 35 is arranged on the expansion mechanism central side, and the side to be driven by the parking cable 29 is arranged on the second brake shoe 17 side.
