摘要：<p>PURPOSE: A building information modeling object classification system and a method thereof generate a project numbering system framework providing figure information which integrates a work breakdown structure into an object breakdown system by setting a project numbering system synchronization requirement regarding the standards of building information modeling classification. CONSTITUTION: An object breakdown system (OBS) scope setting module sets the scope of an OBS based on building information modeling (BIM) framework variables. A work breakdown structure (WBS) generates standard information classification feature information used to manage a construction and location classification process. An OBS component definition module (200) generates project numbering system (PNS) feature information used to manage a cost breakdown structure (CBS) and an SMM breakdown structure (MBS) as well as the OBS feature information used to define figure information. An OBS figure object encoding module (300) matches a figure object to the standard information classification feature information and the PNS feature information and grants the figure object with a number corresponding to the OBS feature information.
