摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric motor capable of efficiently driving an object. <P>SOLUTION: A vibrating body that vibrates in a flexural manner when voltage is applied thereto is housed in a housing case in a state that both surfaces of the vibrating body provided with electrodes are held by supporting portions from a direction intersecting with a flexural direction of the vibrating body. Further, joint portions for joining the electrodes and electric wires to one another are provided in spaces that are generated between the vibrating body and the housing case and have thicknesses equal to those of the supporting portions. Still further, heights of the electrodes from the joint portions and outer diameters of the electric wires are made less than the thicknesses of the supporting portions. Thus, transmission of vibration of the vibrating body to the housing case is suppressed, and, accordingly, an object can be efficiently driven. Furthermore, wiring (the joint portions and the electric wires) to the electrodes can be housed in the spaces having the thicknesses equal to those of the supporting portions, so that the wiring to the electrodes can be secured in a system in which both sides (both the surfaces provided with the electrodes) of the vibrating body are held by the supporting portions from the direction intersecting with the flexural direction of the vibrating body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
