摘要:<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrowetting device at a low cost with high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrowetting device comprises: a step in which colored oil 5 is introduced into a panel having an injection port 1a and a suction port 1b by performing vacuuming through the suction port 1b and the panel is filled with the colored oil 5; a step in which after the panel is filled with the colored oil 5, the panel is filled with water by performing vacuuming through the suction port 1b, and the liquid level of the colored oil 5 is raised, thereby filling a pixel section of the panel with the colored oil 5; a step in which suction is performed after the liquid level of the colored oil 5 in the panel is raised and the liquid level reaches the suction port 1b, and the colored oil 5 is discharged into a trap container 4 provided with a vacuum system connected to the suction port 1b, thereby completing the filling of the panel with the colored oil 5 and the water; and a step in which pressure is applied to the panel, and the injection port 1a and the suction port 1b are sealed with an ultraviolet-curable resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
