摘要:An apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving a signal in a communication system are provided to enhance system efficiency by using software without changing hardware. A transmission/reception unit(300) transmits and receives signals corresponding to a time division duplexing method and a frequency division duplexing method. A duplexer(370) transmits and receives the signals through an antenna in order to branch the received signals into transmission signals and reception signals. A switching unit(350) connects the transmission/reception unit with the duplexer and controls paths of the transmission and reception signals according to a signal transmission/reception method used in the signal transmission/reception unit. The switch unit includes at least one switch formed at each of the signal transmission/reception paths. A switch control unit controls the switch formed at each of the signal transmission/reception paths.
