摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of shortening the time required for focus detection. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an imaging element 22 having a plurality of imaging pixels 221 arranged two-dimensionally and a plurality of focus detection pixels 222a and 222b arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally being mixed in the imaging pixels, imaging an image formed by an optical system, and outputting pixel data corresponding to the imaged image from the imaging pixels and the focus detection pixels; a first storage part 25 for storing the pixel data output from the imaging element 22; a second storage part 215, which is different from the first storage part 25, for storing the pixel data output from the imaging element 22; and a control part 214 which causes the first storage part 25 to store at least imaging pixel data output from the imaging pixels 221 among the pixel data, and causes the second storage part 215 to store focus detection pixel data output from the focus detection pixels 222a and 222b among the pixel data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
