摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter that achieves improvement of power conversion efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter comprises: a control circuit; a transistor whose switching is controlled by an output voltage from the control circuit applied to its gate electrode; a voltage conversion unit in which supply of input power is controlled by switching the transistor and which generates output power having an appropriate amount of voltage to the duty ratio of the switching of the transistor; and a detection circuit detecting the output power. In addition, the control circuit includes: a control signal generation circuit that generates a control signal having a pulse shaped voltage waveform; and a selection circuit which applies the control signal voltage to the gate electrode if the output power detected at the detection circuit is greater than or equal to a threshold and which applies a voltage turning on the transistor to the gate electrode if the output power detected at the detection circuit is less than the threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
