摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently cutting titanium and titanium alloy, which sufficiently cuts the titanium and titanium alloy at higher speeds within a range in which general cemented carbide tools are used without using expensive tools such as a diamond tool. SOLUTION: In this method of efficiently cutting titanium and titanium alloy, the depth of cut of an end mill in the radial direction is set to 0.6-2 mm, the depth of cut thereof in the axial direction is set to 0.6-2 mm, the feed thereof is set to 0.1-0.5 mm/rev, and the cutting speed thereof is set to 80-200 m/min. A cutting is performed intermittently while spraying a lubricating oil of 5-100 mL/h containing an 80 mass% or more oil content with polarity in a mist state to the edge of the end mill together with air or nitrogen gas of 10-100 L/min in a flow rate.
