摘要：PURPOSE: A method for preparing a positive electrode active material precursor for a lithium secondary battery and a method for manufacturing a positive electrode active material are provided to form a concentration gradient layer by controlling the concentration of a precursor aqueous solution and the concentration of a chelating agent according to a reaction progress process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a positive electrode active material precursor for a lithium secondary battery comprises the steps of: injecting a chelating agent aqueous solution into a batch reactor; successively injecting a first precursor solution, a chelating agent aqueous solution, and a basic solution into the reactor to obtain spherical precipitates constituting a core layer; successively injecting a second precursor aqueous solution, chelating agent aqueous solution, and basic solution to obtain precipitates constituting a concentration gradient layer on the surface of the core layer in which the concentration of nickel maganese cobalt is gradually changed; successively injecting a third precursor aqueous solution, chelating agent aqueous solution, and basic solution to obtain precipitates constituting a shell layer on the surface of the concentration gradient layer; and drying and heating the precipitates.
