摘要：本发明公开了一种以太网隧道的保护方法，在以太网保护域中为一条工作实体设置一条以上的保护实体，所述工作实体和所述保护实体有相同的两个端点桥；所述方法包括：所述端点桥检测到所述工作实体故障时，将工作实体上的受保护的隧道倒换到一个保护实体上，即将与所述工作实体的端口关联的受保护的隧道的转发条目的出端口修改为所选取的保护实体的端口，并通知另一端点桥进行端口倒换。本发明同时公开了一种以太网隧道的保护装置。本发明能够很好地对TESI实现快速保护，增强了PBB-TE网络的健壮性，提高了网络性能。
