摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor for a permanent magnet rotary machine having a high power and a heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The rotor is used for the permanent magnet rotary machine in which the rotor having a plurality of permanent magnet segments and a stator having a plurality of coils are arranged via air gaps. The rotor for the permanent magnet rotary machine is constituted such that each of the plurality of permanent magnet segments 12a is constituted of an aggregate of permanent magnet pieces which are divided into two or more pieces, coercive forces in the vicinity of surfaces of the divided permanent magnets are set larger than those in the divided permanent magnets, an insulating film for completely insulating the magnet pieces is not formed, and there is electrical conductivity between the magnet pieces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
