摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an appearance in a cap of a writing instrument or the like having an air flow passage for preventing a suffocation due to erroneous swallowing. SOLUTION: The cap of the writing instrument comprises a top 7A of an outer cap 7 formed in a ridge shape and with an opening hole 7B formed at its center. The cap further comprises an opening formed at a lower end 7C of the cap 7, and an inner collar 7D formed at the inner surface of the cap 7. The cap also comprises a protrusion 8D cut out partly at the top 8A of an inner cap 8, and an outer collar 8E having a cutout 8C on the surface of the cap 8. The cap 8 is inserted from the lower end 7C of the cap 7, the protrusion 8D of the cap 8 is contacted with the inner surface of the top 7A of the cap 7, and the collar 8E of the cap 8 is passed through the inner collar 7D of the cap 7 to be locked.
