摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serial number re-printing system which automatically and positively detects an imperfect print state of serial numbers by arranging a sensor for detecting the print state of the serial numbers, and re-prints the serial numbers, to thereby reduce the number of forms each having an imperfectly printed serial number and achieve correct re-printing of the serial numbers, and to provide a serial number re-printing method. <P>SOLUTION: The serial number re-printing system has an image input device provided with an image input section for obtaining image data of the form, and a printing section for printing the serial numbers on the forms, and a master unit having a display means for displaying the images of the forms. The image input device is comprised of the print state detecting sensor 14 for detecting the print state of the serial numbers, and the master unit outputs a warning when the print state detecting sensor 14 detects the imperfect print state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
