摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical network design apparatus for automatically designing an optimum optical network satisfying a required characteristic.SOLUTION: A parameter holding part 11 holds an optical-transmission parameter of each component constituting an optical network to be designed, and a part generation part 12 generates, as design candidates, a plurality of parts containing components for each span between nodes of the optical network. A part selection part 13 selects, for each of the spans, a part having an optical-transmission parameter satisfying a design condition from the plurality of parts, and a construction control part 14 constructs the optical network by combining the selected parts. A quality test part 15 performs a quality test of optical network design software in the apparatus to confirm the reliability of the designed optical network.
