摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner effectively eliminating static electricity of dust or a member constituting a suction passage.SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner includes: a suction opening body having a suction opening for sucking dust with a gas; an ion generating chamber 130 having an intake opening for sucking the gas; a motor-driven blower 110 for generating suction air; the suction passage for guiding the suction air from the suction opening body and ion generating chamber 130 to the motor-driven blower 110; and an ion generating element disposed in the ion generating chamber 130. A discharge opening 135 for discharging ions generated by the ion generating element into the suction passage is formed in the suction passage. The vacuum cleaner further includes a check valve disposed in the intake opening to open or close the intake opening. The check valve is configured to open or close the intake opening based on the pressure in the suction passage.
