摘要：A recording liquid ejected contains 70% by mass to less than 90% by mass of water, glycerol, a coloring agent, and a compound having a hydroxy group in an amount satisfying relationship: 0.25<y<S60÷2500. The compound is solid at ordinary temperature and pressure and satisfied relationships: Q20<−10 and S60−S20>10. In the relationships, Q20 represents a heat of dissolution of the compound in water at 20° C. and 103 hPa on a KJ/mol basis, S20 represents the solubility of the compound at 20° C. in water, S60 represents the solubility of the compound at 60° C. in water, and Y represents the content of the compound.
