摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely easily perform support of a housing fitted to both ends of a pipe constituting a roller.SOLUTION: The roller comprises a pair of housings B having a cylindrical wall 3 having an outer end surface opened to surroundings and provided with a flange part circumferentially projected from an opened outer end edge and assembled with a bearing C; a rotary spindle D having both end parts penetrated to the bearing; and the pipe A made of metal in which the opened end edge of the cylindrical wall is projected from both end edges and the housings are fitted to the insides of both ends. An end edge of the pipe is embraced by an embracing part provided by inverting/bending the opened end edge of the cylindrical wall by calking working, and the embracing part and the end edge part of the pipe are narrowed in a diameter-contraction direction.
