摘要：PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to output different sound corresponding to the property of an image by outputting different sound according to a turn-on pixel rate which is calculated from the image signal by a single frame unit. CONSTITUTION: A display part(100) displays an image by selectively lighting a plurality of pixels according to an input image signal and an input image control signal. A scan driving part(200) sequentially applies a scan signal to a scanning line(G1~Gn) according to a scanning control signal(CONT1). A signal control part(400) generates a sound output start signal which is synchronized with a vertical synchronization signal. A sound control part(500) generates a sound command signal corresponding to the previous step by detecting a step corresponding to the pixel signal. A sound output part(600) outputs sound corresponding to the sound command signal according to the sound output start signal.
