摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a lithium-ion secondary battery that is suitable for the lithium-ion secondary battery and a lithium-ion polymer secondary battery or the like and has high heat-resistance, excellent uniformity and liquid retainability, and a shutdown function. SOLUTION: The separator for the lithium-ion secondary battery is formed by compounding a nonwoven fabric, containing polyester short fibers, and organic fine particles. The nonwoven fabric contains polyester short fibers whose average fiber diameter is≤3.0μm as essential components while the average fiber diameter of the whole fibers is≤5.0μm. The organic fine particles comprise organic fine particles substantially melting at a temperature of≥80°C and≤140°C and organic fine particles not substantially melting at a temperature of <150°C.
