Class 20(3) A double channel guide for a sliding vehicle window assembly is formed from a core of strip metal 1 which has two sideby-side rows of slits, not shown, to facilitate bending, and is covered, except along the longitudinal axial portion between lines A, B on one side of the core, with a rubber lining 2. The lining 2 carries fabric linings 3 having velvety portions 4 and black felt strips 5 which form the bases of the two channels of the guide. The edges of the strip 1 are folded over at 7. The guide is formed by folding the strip 1, Fig. 2, along its longitudinal axis c so that portions 1a, 1b are in contact, and then bending up the strip to form the sides.</p>
