摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector enabling a user to easily recognize measures to be taken to eliminate trapezoidal distortion. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging data processing part 24 derives the inclination of the projector 1 to a projection surface S on the basis of a result (picked-up image) obtained by imaging the projection surface S by an imaging part 23. When the inclination is out of a predetermined range, the imaging data processing part 24 informs a control part 20 of a direction where the inclination of the projector 1 comes off from the predetermined range as adjustment information. The control part 20 superimposes and displays a message on an OSD processing part 27 on the basis of the adjustment information input from the imaging data processing part 24 in order to give the user guidance about a direction where the projector 1 is to be moved, that is, a direction where the projector 1 is moved and the inclination of the projector 1 is settled within the predetermined range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
