摘要：PURPOSE: A data filtering method and a system thereof are provided to filter conditional access messages in a cable company field using combination of filters. CONSTITUTION: An overlap bit detector(41) detects mask bits overlapping in regard to each filter pair. A mask generator(42) generates a new mask indicating differences between all filtering pairs based on the overlapping mask bits. A filter selector applies the new mask to an input packet to generate a mask value and select one of groups of the filters based on the mask value to apply the new mask to the input packet.
