摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a further refined axial flow type non-contact seal by solving the problem wherein a value of a minute clearance between a rotary side body and a seal ring can not be reduced in an axial flow type non-contact seal having various advantages. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The axial flow type non-contact seal includes: a seal ring 6 fitted over an outer peripheral surface 1A of a rotating shaft 1 with the minute clearance H; a fixed side body 5 for radially movably and non-rotatably storing the seal ring 6 in a seal state; and an opening part 7 formed on a seal ring inner peripheral surface 6A for discharging supplied high pressure seal gas G toward the outer peripheral surface 1A, and is configured so as to seal the minute clearance H while maintaining the minute clearance by discharging the seal gas G from the opening part 7. Two or more elastic mechanisms 21 arranged between the seal ring 6 and the fixed side body 5 for pressing the seal ring 6 toward the inner diameter side in the radial direction, are arranged at equal intervals in the peripheral direction of the seal ring 6.
