摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of easily positioning a vacuum heat insulating panel and reducing manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The refrigerator 1 includes a heat insulating housing 10 having an inner case 12 opened at its front face and formed in a state of partitioning a refrigerating compartment 2 and a freezing compartment 3, an outer case 11 covering an outer side of the inner case 12, foam insulation filled between the inner case 12 and the outer case 11, and a vacuum heat insulating panel 21 constituted by covering a core material 25 with a shell material 26, and decompressing the inside, and disposed between the inner case 12 and the outer case 11. The vacuum heat insulating panel 21 has a first contact portion 21a kept into contact with the inner case 12 and facing the refrigerating compartment 2, and a second contact portion 21b facing the refrigerating compartment 3, the refrigerating compartment 2 is projected to an outer case 11 side with respect to the freezing compartment 3, a thickness of the first contact portion 21a is thinner than the second contact portion 21b, and a step portion 21c between the first and second contact portions 21a, 21b is kept into contact with a peripheral portion of the refrigerating compartment 2.
