摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner capable of reducing toner consumption in image formation, excellent in lasting developing property in a low-humidity environment, and giving an image excellent in dot reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The toner is used in an image forming method in which the thickness of a toner layer on a toner bearing member is regulated with a toner regulation blade and an electrostatic latent image on an electrostatic latent image bearing member is developed with the toner on the toner bearing member, wherein the surface of a portion of the toner regulation blade touched to the toner bearing member has a ten-point average roughness Rz of 5.0-25.0 μm as measured with a laser microscope, and when the portion of the toner regulation blade touched to the toner bearing member is brought into contact with a glass plate under a surface pressure of 14.4 Pa, a ratio of the area of contact parts to the area of noncontact parts is 8/92 to 70/30. The toner contains at least a binder resin and iron oxide, and the toner is obtained in an aqueous medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
