摘要：<p>A method and a system for automatically replacing a main multimedia first program with, a personalized replacement second program is disclosed, such as for example an advertisement program inserted into a main program of a TV channel. The first multimedia program (111a) is emitted on a first multicast, address (112a), and a plurality of replacement multimedia programs (111b, 111c, 111d) are emitted on a plurality of multicast replacement addresses (112b, 112c, 111d) different from the first multicast address (112a). Each user host (115a) received the data frames from the first multicast address (112a) and from one of -the other multicast addresses (112b, c, d). In a particular user host (115a) program data may be transmitted from the communication means by switching means toward the playing means from both addresses, thus enabling each user host (115a) to play a personalized replacement program selected through a personalized switch datum linked to one of the replacement multicast addresses (112b, c, d).</p>
