摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus enabling a master set or a slave set to properly ring in response to an incoming call signal from a caller. SOLUTION: This communication apparatus 1 is provided with a master set 10 and at least one slave set 20 connected to the master set 10. The master set 10 is provided with a storage means 33 for storing identification information, a searching means for searching identification information included in an incoming call signal to be inputted on the basis of the identification information stored in the storage means 33, and a transmitting means for transmitting a ring instruction for allowing the slave set corresponding to the identification information searched by the searching means to emit a calling sound. The slave set 20 is provided with a human body detecting sensor 31 for detecting the presence or absence of a person, a determining means for determining the presence or absence of a person using the human body detecting sensor on the basis of the ring instruction, and a slave set ringing means for emitting a calling sound in condition that a person has been detected as a result of determination.
