SOLUTION: An authentication server 8 is provided with an authentication request receiving part 811 for receiving an authentication request to a terminal 2 made by a content provider 6 in response to access to a content provider 6 of the terminal 2; an authentication request transmission part 812 for transmitting an authentication request received by the authentication request receiving part 811 to a local network management device 4 which manages the communication of a local network to which the terminal 2 belongs; an authentication result receiving part 813 for receiving the result of authentication with respect to the terminal 2 to be performed by the local network management device 4 in response to an authentication request transmitted by the authentication request transmission part 812 from the local network management device 4; and an authentication result transmission part 814 for transmitting the authentication result with respect to the terminal 2 received by the authentication result reception part 813 to the content provider 6.
