摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents the occurrence of trouble to an apparatus body and a decrease in image quality when a toner cartridge which is not a genuine product is used. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 is loaded with a toner cartridge 200 having an EEPROM 260 stored with charging history information and use state information on toner, and decides whether the toner cartridge 200 is a genuine product by using the toner charging history information and use state information stored in the EEPROM 260.
