摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, image display method, program, and recording medium, wherein an image editing images picked up by a plurality of cameras into a single image is received and can be displayed while being sorted into a plurality of groups. SOLUTION: Images picked up by a plurality of cameras 5-7 are edited into a single image by an editing unit 8 and the single image is broadcast from a transmission unit 9. The broadcast image is received at a side of a recipient 10 and sent to an image sorter 11. The image sorter comprises: an image capturing unit 12 to which a received image is supplied; a sorted result holding unit 13 storing sorted images sorted for each group beforehand; a differential calculation unit 14 which calculates a differential value of a luminance signal between corresponding pixels in the received image and the sorted image stored in the sorted result holding unit 13 and sorts this received image into the same group as the sorted image in which the number of pixels having a differential value that is below a first threshold value, is above a second threshold value; an image output unit 15 which outputs an image for each group; and a control unit 16 which controls these units.
