摘要：<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface illumination device capable of easily and surely carrying out inspection of mounting positions on a printed circuit board of a point light source such as an LED. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface illumination device equipped with an FPC assembly 20 composed of LEDs 50 and an FPC 21 on which the LED 50 are mounted, and a light guide plate, conductive patterns formed in the FPC 21 include a pair of lands 33, 34 corresponding to a pair of electrode terminals 53, 54 of the LEDs 50, and wiring patterns 32a to 32c connected to the respective lands 33, 34 constituting the pair of the lands 33, 34, the LEDs 50 are mounted on the FPC 21 so that their light-emitting faces 50a become nearly perpendicular to a mounting face of the FPC 21, the FPC assembly 20 is arranged so that the light-emitting faces 50a of the LEDs 50 is opposite to a light incident face of the light guide plate, and at positions corresponding to the rear faces 50b of the light-emitting faces 50a of the LEDs 50 on the mounting face of the FPC 21, marks 39 for inspecting the mounting positions are installed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
