摘要：An optical pick-up assembly is provided to polarize laser beam from a light source according to the type of a recording medium by a polarizer having first and second devices. An optical pick-up assembly comprises a light source(21), a polarizer(23), a driving source, a unit prism(30), first and second collimator lens(33,43), first and second objective lens(37,47), and an optical detector(39). The polarizer converts polarization of laser beam according to the type of a recording medium. The unit prism determines an optical path. The first and second collimator lens keeps the laser beam in a dispersed and horizontal state. The objective lens concentrate laser beam passing through the collimator lens to form the focus on the optical disk. The laser beam finally enters the optical detector to detect data. The polarizer includes a moving frame(23'), and first and second devices(24,25) polarizing laser beam from the light source.
