摘要：A method for manufacturing a housing for an LCD module and a housing manufactured by the same are provided to form linear frames continuously by using only a pair of progressive type molds, thereby processing a housing frame at significantly higher speed and significantly reducing material costs by forming a square housing frame by bending the linear frame. A module housing frame is linearly, sequentially and continuously pressed to manufacture a linear frame by using a progressive type mold. First and second linear frames(10,12) are configured with first parts(10a,12a), second parts(10b,12b) and third parts(10c,12c) by being bent through two steps based on a notch unit. The first part of the first frame and the third part of the second frame are contacted with each other. The third part of the first frame and the first part of the second frame are contacted with each other to form a square housing frame having a couple of long sides and a couple of short sides. By coupling the contacted end parts of the first and second frames through laser welding, a housing for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module is manufactured.
