摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for removing a fastener for an asbestos slate board, capable of safely and efficiently perform the work of removing a fastener from the asbestos slate board while suppressing generation of dust. SOLUTION: In the apparatus and method for removing a fastener for asbestos slate board, which are adapted to peel an asbestos slate board 13 from a backing member 11 while removing powder dust generated in removal of a fastener 12 of the asbestos slate board 13 fixed to the backing member 11 by use of a tool 15, a space part 26 partially opened to the outside is formed around the tool 15 engaged with a head part 14 of the fastener 12 of the asbestos slate board 13 and disposed on the asbestos slate board 13 by use of a tool holding tool 19, and a suction port 24 connected to a dust removing machine through a flexible hose 23 is charged into the space part 26, so that dust generated at the time of removing the fastener 12 by the tool 15 is sucked by the dust removing machine.
