摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a desired strong swirl from light load operation to heavy load operation and greatly improve combustion efficiency of an engine. SOLUTION: This device is provided with intake ports 6, 8 opening to a combustion chamber 4 of the engine, intake paths 14, 16 supplying charged air into the combustion chamber through the intake ports, swirl forming projections 34, 36 provided to project in a radial direction in the intake path in an upstream side of the intake ports and generating swirl in charged air supplied into the combustion chamber. The intake path includes bent parts 22, 24 near the intake ports. The bent parts include inner bent parts 26, 28 having small curvature and outer bent parts 30, 32 having large curvature.
