摘要：<p>The invention refers to a sensing device (6, 42, 45) for sensing an operating state of a system or component (5), in particular of an electric or electronic component, for example a relay. The sensing device (6, 42, 45) comprises a signal generating unit (6, 45) and a control unit (42). The sensing device (2) is adapted to produce a signal representing the operating state, in particular to produce a digital signal depending on whether an electric voltage exceeds a threshold value or not. The control unit (42) is adapted to control the size of an electric current, wherein the current is carried by a line (8) of the control unit (42) at least in a particular operating state of the system or component and wherein the control unit (42) increases the size of the electric current if the current is driven by a smaller voltage and vice versa.</p>
