摘要：<p>A method for processing an error in isochronous data and a decoder for receiving and processing the error are provided to detect and recover the error when processing isochronous data by using the decoder. A data stream is monitored to detect a PID(Packet ID) for identifying isochronous data transport packets(22a-22g). The isochronous data transport packets(22a-22g) identified by the PID are monitored to search an isochronous data PTS(Presentation Time Stamp). A presentation of a presentation unit from a buffer is synchronized with an STC(System Time Clock) by using timing information guided from the searched isochronous data PTS. Errors of the isochronous data transports packets(22a-22g) are identified. If one error of the continued packets is identified, the synchronization of the presentation is maintained for the STC and a write point of the buffer is progressed by the suitable number of bits to compensate the error.</p>
