摘要:FIELD: electrical engineering; lead-acid storage battery manufacture. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed lead-acid storage battery has cells connected in series by means of interconnections; each cell has groups of unlike-polarity plates with separators in-between and electrolyte; each plate has active material and terminal; negative plates have perforated terminals incorporating wire netting and top frame with lug for interconnecting plates into plate group; positive-plate terminal is, essentially, netting of permanent-section horizontal and vertical wires disposed within frame that has lug on its upper part for interconnecting plates to form plate group; number of vertical wires is greater by 1.6 to 2.4 times than that of horizontal wires; distribution of horizontal wires in upper part of wire netting occupying minimum two thirds of total area of the latter is characterized in compression toward lower part of wire netting; rounded-off points are provided in horizontal-to-vertical wire joints, their radius being 0.40 to 2,00 mm; positive-plate terminal is made of alloy having following ingredients, mass percent: Sn, 0.70-1.20; Ca, 0.03-0.05; Ag, 0.0003-0.02; Al, 0.01-0.025; Bi, 0.0002-0.03; Bi; total content of remaining components is not over 0.01 mass per cent at maximal content of any component element being 0.002 mass percent, tin-to-calcium mass content ratio in KSn/Ca alloy is 23-40; negative-plate terminal is made of alloy having following ingredients, mass percent: Sn, 0.20-0.35; Ca, 0.07-0.11; Ag, 0.0003-0.02; Al, 0.01-0.025; Bi, 0.0002-0.03; total content of other components is not over 0.01 mass percent at maximal content of any component element of 0.002 mass percent. ^ EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength and power characteristics of plates and corrosion resistance of positive terminals. ^ 1 cl, 4 dwg
