摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide organic EL material obtained by a simple method without providing a barrier rib layer, and having excellent durability and high definition, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The organic EL material has a fine-hole structure between a positive electrode and a negative electrode on a supporting body, and a positive hole transporting layer, a light emitting layer and an electron transporting layer in this order in at least one hole in the fine-hole structure. It is desirable that the organic EL material has any of red light emitting material, green light emitting material and blue light emitting material in at least one hole in the fine-hole structure and the fine-hole structure is a honeycomb porous structure produced by self-organization. The method of manufacturing organic EL material includes a fine-hole structure producing step of producing the fine-hole structure having holes on the surface of the positive electrode on the supporting body and an accommodating step of accommodating the positive hole transporting layer, a light emitting layer and the electron transporting layer which are laminated in this order in each of the holes of the produced fine-hole structure.
