SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises a conductive support, and from the support side, a charge generating layer and a charge transport layer successively layered on the support, wherein the charge transport layer contains a polyarylate resin having a specified repeating unit and a charge transport substance having a specified structure.
