摘要:<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively provide a method for manufacturing a color filter for a translucent liquid crystal display for making reflection-type color display having superior brightness and chroma, that does will not become darkened, when used as a reflection liquid crystal display by making transmission color display having superior brightness and chroma, when used as a transmission-type liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the color filter for the translucent liquid crystal display includes a process for forming on a transparent substrate a coat of a photosensitive coloring composition, including a specific carbazole-based photoinitiator, an ethylene unsaturated monomer, a transparent resin and a coloring agent on the transparent substrate, and a process for forming a coloring layer for a light-transmitting layer and a coloring layer for a light-reflecting region, by irradiating the coat with ultraviolet rays via a photomask having an entire light-shielded region, a semi-shielding region where light transmittance is 0-50% in 300-340 nm of wavelength, is 5-80% in 340-370 nm of wavelength and is 20-100% in 370-500 nm of wavelength, and an entire transmission region to be developed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
