摘要：<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power loss in equalization of respective cells constituting a battery pack. <P>SOLUTION: A high voltage battery pack 60 comprises three battery modules C1-C3 each consisting of a plurality of cells connected in series as a lithium secondary battery, circuits B1-B3 for equalizing the voltage of respective cells in each battery module C1-C3, a plurality of switches SW1-SW6 for connecting the battery modules C1-C3 in series or parallel. While the battery modules C1-C3 are connected in series, the equalization circuits B1-B3 equalize the voltage of respective cells in each battery module C1-C3, and then equalize the battery modules C1-C3 by connecting them in parallel.
