摘要：<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage tank which obviates the necessity to increase the pressure to excess for filling hydrogen gas, and install a cooling and heating mechanisms. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage tank 10 comprises a pressure container 12 in which a hydrogen adsorbent 14 is held. The hydrogen adsorbent 14 can adsorb the hydrogen gas in a volume more than that occupied by the hydrogen adsorbent 14 itself. In the hydrogen adsorbent 14, the endotherm in releasing the adsorbed hydrogen gas is at most 16 kJ per mol of hydrogen molecule. The hydrogen adsorbent 14 is contained in the pressure container 12, and inhibited by a filter 13 from leaking outside the pressure container 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
