摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more improve compatibility of image compressibility and image quality. SOLUTION: There are included a third compression means 10 and a first edge data comparison reference table 9 describing therein information of rewriting from binarized first image data to a third code 11 that is a representative value thereof, if document data mixed with pictorial symbols are inputted to the image processing apparatus. The third code 11 is created from the first image data 4 based on the first edge data comparison reference table 9 and if there are not corresponding first image data 4 in the first edge data comparison reference table 9, a first code 6 is created from the first image data 4 using a first compression means 10.
